Try-out structure:
Friday May 29: registration 4-5pm
5pm-9pm--- meeting/ learn short dance, stunt, tumble
Saturday May 30: 1pm-5pm ---review dance, stunt, tumble
Sunday May 31: 10am-1pm---dance try-out & interview
1pm -3pm---Team Announced/Fittings
The tryout process will consist of three days in which you will be evaluated based on material learned and performed, stunting and gymnastic skills. During the three days, cuts may be made by the coach as needed. The final day will include a formal tryout, judged by expert judges chosen by the coach. All decisions will be final.
Come try out for the 2009-2010 Cheerleading team! Official Try-Outs will be held in McNeal Pavillion May 29 through May 31. Prior cheerleading experience
Strong dance abilities Standing Back Hand Spring/round off back handspring
Must be enrolled at SOU or be accepted as a new 2009 fall student Must be commited for entire season Football through Basketball play-offs and competition
