The SOU Cheerleading team is devoted to supporting all educational and athletic events associated with SOU. It is important for us to show our enthusiasm and pride for our Raiders by attending an assortment of events. These events range from alumni meetings, banquets, games, BBQ's etc. Many different groups have enjoyed the fun and spirited enthusiasm of the SOU Cheerleaders. Wheather you would like the entire team or just a couple of gals for your event, we can accomidate. At each appearance your event also has the option of having the team perform stunts, dance routines, tumbling sequences etc. If you have an event that could use some cheering up, fill out the appearance request form and turn it into the "Cheerleading" Box in SOU's Athletic Office located in McNeal Hall. Appearance Types:
 
 
  • SOU Football Tailgates: What better way to get pumped up for some Raider Football than a tailgate party, and who better to help

         than your SOU Cheerleaders! The team will appear at any personal tailgate that is located on campus 2 hours before kick-off.

 
 
  • Alumni Events: The SOU Cheerleading team takes pride in our strong alumni association, and enjoys attending a variety of alumni

         events at SOU.

 

 

 

  • SOU Department functions: Any department event sponsored by SOU Whether it be athletic or educational, the SOU Cheerleaders

          would make a great addition to the event.

 

 

  • School Events: The SOU Cheerleaders strive to be good role models for the youth in our community. Making appearances at our 

          local elementary middle, and high school events are always a delight.

 

 

  • Non-Profit Organization events: If you are part of a non-profit organization and you would like the SOU Cheerleading Team

         to make an appearance and support a good cause, please fill out the appearance request form below.
